Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are key elements in the potty-training process. One of the first steps in successful potty-training is to introduce your child to the concept of using the potty. This begins with a stage called Potty Learning. The Premium Potty Plan explores these techniques in detail and will be available to you once the Potty Questionnaire has been completed.
You will be provided with step-by-step instructions allowing you to confidently progress through your child's potty-training journey, at their own pace. You will be completely educated to confidently transition from nappies to underwear during waking hours. This is called Day Training.
Potty Time Toilet Training places an emphasis on praise. Celebrate with your child successful attempts, even if they are small victories. Positive reinforcement will create in intrinsic motivation in your child to continue using the potty. We don't encourage bribes or material rewards, these only place more pressure on your child to succeed. It is important to remain calm and patient during setbacks or accidents. Accidents are a normal part of the potty-training process, and it is essential not to scold or shame your child. Instead, offer reassurance and support to help them feel encouraged to try again. Simply say something like "in the potty next time" then move on, don't dwell on the accident.
Once Day training has been mastered, Night Training may be introduced. Information on how to best approach this will be comprehensively addressed in your Premium Potty Plan. .
Celebrate milestones and achievements along the way. Whether it's successfully using the potty independently or staying dry throughout the night, acknowledge and celebrate your child's accomplishments to boost their confidence and motivation.

With the expert guidance and resources provided by Potty Time Toilet Training, you can navigate the potty-training journey with confidence and support.
